Application to Adopt

Whiskers & Tails Foundation likes to do our best to find homes for our rescue dogs and cats.

If you are interested in adopting a dog from us, we will ask you to fill out an adoption application. This gives us a chance to find out a little bit about you, and to make sure the dog, or cat that you are interested in will be a good match for your family and your lifestyle.

If it looks like a good match, we will set up a time to come to your house for a home inspection. This allows us to make sure your home will be a safe, secure place for the dog, or cat. It also gives you a chance to see how the dog, or cat will interact with other pets, and members of your family.

Because of this policy, adoptions are generally restricted to the Los Angeles area, and in some situations to other parts of Southern California only. We do occasionally make exceptions for the "right match", but the home must still be within reasonable driving distance.
